COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
•The Kamado Joe Cast Iron Dutch Oven is especially made for your Kamado Joe grill, however, it can also be used inside the home on your induction, ceramic, electric, and gas cooktops, and oven.
• Set the Cast Iron Dutch Oven on the grill grate with heat deflectors inside the grill.
• You may experience some sticking with new cookware, so use a little oil when cooking.
• Use wood or hitemp silicone utensils.
• Handles get hot, so always grab with oven mitts.
• Use trivets to protect countertops from hot cookware.
• Never place in a microwave oven.
CLEANING AND CARE
• Hand wash with mild, soapy water. Dry immediately.
• Lightly coat with vegetable oil after each use.
Cast iron can rust without protective seasoning. But don't panic. It's really easy to fix. First, scour the rust from the pot and rinse. Dry thoroughly and rub with a little vegetable oil.
• Never wash in a dishwasher.
